Intersurgical are pleased to announce a number of major improvements to their neonatal nasal cannula. The nasal prongs have been lengthened and their wall thickness reduced to increase the softness.
The diameters of the oxygen delivery tubes have also been reduced by 35% to reduce weight and to exert less drag on the patients face.
These tubes have also been extruded with a crush resistant section to ensure that oxygen continues to flow even if the tube becomes kinked. All of these changes are designed to improve patient comfort and safety.
