Novalung Academy Offers New Intensive Care Transportation Course

The Novalung Academy expands its courses offered for protective ventilation providing a specialized training dealing with intensive care transportation. This course focuses on inter- and intrahospital transportation of the critically ill patient with respiratory failure. Apart from aspects of transport organization and preparation, substantial pathophysiological procedures (trauma, ARDS), ventilation strategies with ARDS and particularities of air transports are discussed. Another emphasis is on transportation of patients with extracorporeal lung support systems (ECMO, iLA Membrane Ventilator).
This course addresses in particular all physicians, specialists and personnel working in emergency medical services that are involved in supporting and realizing secondary transportation.
