Vital Images is a leading provider of enterprise-wide advanced visualisation and analysis software solutions. The company's technology gives radiologists, cardiologists, oncologists and other medical specialists time-saving productivity and communications tools that can be accessed throughout the enterprise and via the web for easy use in the day-to-day practice of medicine.

The ViTAL community highlights the company's commitment to relationships empowered by its comprehensive solutions featuring:

  • Vitrea® software
  • Web-based ViTALConnect®
  • VitreaACCESS
  • Education through ViTAL U
  • ViTALPerformance®, the maintenance and services programme

SIMPLIFYING COMPLEX MEDICAL IMAGING INFORMATION

Considerable enhancements to Vitrea, the flagship software, and the web-based ViTALConnect, combined with additional accessibility options, provide an elegant workflow solution that simplifies complex medical imaging information.

The result is easier communication among radiologists, radiology technologists and other clinical users, such as surgeons, oncologists and referring physicians.

ADVANCED MEDICAL VISUALISATION SOLUTIONS

Working together as a robust advanced imaging solution, Vitrea, VitreaACCESS and ViTALConnect provide the power and speed of workstation applications, bolstered by the communication and distribution flexibility provided by the internet.

For example, physicians using Vitrea 3.9 can manipulate studies creating key images, then push them to the ViTALConnect 4.0 solution where enterprise users both inside and outside of the facility can restore the Vitrea workflow and continue further analysis and manipulation utilising a web interface.

VitreaACCESS Remote extends this capability by allowing radiologists to access their advanced visualisation desktop from a remote location utilising their Virtual Private Network (VPN).

ACCESS TO CLINICALLY-RELEVANT VISUALISATION

"We've worked very closely with customers to understand the complexities in their workflow and to simplify those workflows through elegant software solutions. The result is that ViTAL is able to provide our customers with anywhere, anytime access to clinically-relevant advanced visualisation and analysis solutions customisable to fit the needs of their enterprise", said Susan A. Wood, Ph.D., executive vice president of marketing and product development for Vital Images. "This close collaboration can only happen when you build and maintain strong and productive relationships and when you treat customers like partners."

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICES PROGRAMME

Recognising the importance of providing customers with the latest technologies, Vital Images’ maintenance and services programme, ViTALPerformance, offers automatic software upgrades for the life of a solution. These upgrades maintain the value of the investment and ensure an always current solution.

ViTAL U, Vital Images’ education centre, demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing accessible educational resources to its customers. ViTAL U courses are offered year-round on site, online, at regional road shows and, by request, at facility sites.
