Already the 11th study course of the part-time MBA Programme – International Hospital and Healthcare Management Option will start on 2 November 2007. The 18-months MBA programme, state approved and internationally accredited by FIBAA, is offered by Nations HealthCareer School of Management (non profit) in co-operation with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (formerly named HfB), a private state recognised, top ranked university in Germany. Applications are considered from now on.

The modular-structured part-time MBA programme for professionals in full-time employment in the health, medical, pharmaceutical or hospital industry from Asia, Europe and the Middle East offers an intensive general management study tailored specifically to entrepreneurial hospital and health industry management.

It aims primarily to enhance the participant’s ability to identify business opportunities, make firm, clear cut decisions, plan and control business functions, as well as motivate and develop people and health organisations. The programme pays particular attention to its participants’ personal development, leadership talents, professional skills and entrepreneurial spirit.

The MBA programme is structured into eight attendance modules in Europe, Asia and the Middle East supplemented by e-learning sessions. The eight attendance modules of 8 1/2 days each, take place at different international study locations such as Germany, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, China, Singapore, Austria in order to offer the cross-cultural study group insights into a variety of health management practices and encourage a truly international exchange of experience by case studies and expert meetings.

The MBA attracts physicians, pharmacists, engineers, administrators and e.g. economists seeking to acquire the qualification needed for a top career in health facilities or linked industrial and governmental sectors worldwide.
