Hospital Mart - Liquidation of Surplus or Unwanted Medical Equipment

Hospital Mart is a dedicated website designed to assist the asset management of pre-owned, redundant, surplus and unwanted medical equipment, slow moving supplies, pharmaceuticals and disposables in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors.

TRANSFERRING UNWANTED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

We recognise that there are financial problems in health services across the world. We are very aware that every hospital is carrying surplus equipment. In some cases the volumes, and or the values, can be considerable. We also know that worldwide, there exists a need for good quality pre-used / surplus equipment and supplies of every kind.

Our mission is to facilitate the transfer of this equipment, from those who wish to liquidate it to those who can continue to benefit from it. Worthwhile life extension of medical equipment is our goal.

The benefits of liquidating this equipment include:

  • Release finance to fund service provision
  • Reduce stocks, with the attendant costs of inventory, storage, insurance and administration
  • Pass on under utilised equipment to activities which can continue to benefit from it - lower spend for the health service and raised service provision level

SURPLUS HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT

We bring hospitals, PCTs, NHS hubs, and procurement and supplies departments into contact with other NHS / healthcare organisations who wish to purchase good quality new or pre-owned medical equipment and slow moving supplies, pharmaceuticals, and disposables.

The site can also be utilised by NHS suppliers and manufacturers.

DESIGNED BY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

Using Hospital Mart could not be simpler. To buy or sell surplus medical equipment or service capacity you simply have to create an account, complete an advert for the equipment, send a purchase order to Hospital Mart and wait for potential buyers or sellers to contact you.

Hospital Mart has introduced a totally customer-oriented method of paying for the use of this facility to sell your surplus equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals and disposables. We only invoice you after your product has been sold so you pay us out of the extra revenue we helped you generate.

ETHICAL TRADING OF PRE-OWNED HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT

Hospital Mart is designed by health care professionals, for use by health care professionals. It is an ethical site developed in response to the urgent need for the circulation of hospital equipment from hospitals where it is surplus, to hospitals which need it. We do not insist on membership and we do not conduct auctions.
