KTR Electronics was formed in 1968 to provide specialised services to the electronics industry including security, access control, public address, closed circuit television, MATV, and electrical equipment. After a long collaboration with GT Jones Communications, the sole distributor of Sedco nurse call products, we combined forces and formed the KTR Group.

With our combined resources we now offer over 40 years of quality product and personal service to the metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria for the health care industry, education sector, department of justice and private sector.

System programming and high level fault diagnostic

Baby tagging

Amour Baby Tagging, exclusive to KTR is packed with state-of-the art microprocessor technology, the new Amour baby tagging and tracking system is a sophisticated advanced solid state solution. It is designed for use within busy obstetrics departments, in any situation where a client wants to protect physical assets and / or increase the security of its staff, patients or residents utilising one simple system.

Amour is designed specifically for baby tagging and is safe, easy to use and gentle on the baby. The long range reader covers an area of up to 50m diameter detecting the ‘presence’ signal from every Amour Baby Tag . The same reader will alert if a battery is low or Amour tag has not been seen for a period of time. Additionally it will raise an alarm if a Amour strap is cut or removed.

The portal reader will alarm if any infant fitted with a Amour is detected close to the exit door. Additional outputs from the Amour our receivers can be integrated into various systems including; nurse call , CCTV systems, security and access control solutions .
