Intelerad Ranks Number One in the KLAS Ambulatory PACS Report for the Second Consecutive Year

Intelerad Medical Systems, an industry leading PACS supplier to imaging centers, teleradiology groups and hospitals, is pleased to announce that Intelerad has been ranked first overall in the 2008 Ambulatory PACS Report by KLAS Enterprises, LLC.
A total of 17 vendors qualified for inclusion in this year’s PACS Ambulatory Report. KLAS conducted over 550 in-depth interviews to produce an overall score for each of the 17 vendors. Intelerad was ranked first by KLAS with a total score of 91.9 out of 100, three points above the nearest competitor and a full nine points above the market segment average.
Attaining the number one ranking two years in a row is quite an achievement given the highly competitive nature of this market segment. Intelerad also has the highest average indicator scores in several of the sub-categories evaluated by KLAS, such as service and product / technology. In particular, Intelerad continues to excel at handling the workflow demands of high volume imaging centers.
Intelerad has consistently scored over 90 for five consecutive years, placing among the top tier PACS vendors in this KLAS market segment since its debut in 2004. Previous first place rankings took place in the KLAS mid-year report of 2006 and 2007, as well as the PACS Ambulatory Report in 2004.
