DICOM CAPTURE STATION BZMD-1 - VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE

The DICOM Capture Station BZMD-1 is the world's first ever video capture device that encodes video and still pictures from endoscopes, microscopes and other OR imaging devices into network-friendly DICOM video files.

Images and video clips captured from any connected camera source can be combined with patient data. Patient data can be pulled from on-line departmental work lists or entered manually. Video files can be burned onto CD or DVD for long-term storage, or stored on the Sony Satellite Server or Hybrid Network File Server – making them instantly accessible to networked users. Since they're fully DICOM compliant, video files can be stored, browsed, searched, displayed and printed by other users on a departmental or hospital-wide network.

The new LMD-1950MD is a 19in SXGA medical grade LCD monitor that sets a new benchmark for performance, features and reliability. Fully compliant with the latest Medical Device Directives, the sealed unit is ideal for arm-mount applications. The latest Sony X-Algorithm technology ensures that the 10-bit LCD panel displays static and moving images with exceptional contrast, colour accuracy and stability.

HD-ready and compatible with virtually any video source, the LMD-1950MD is the perfect choice for displaying images from high definition cameras. Moreover, LMD-1950MD has a native scan mode that performs pixel-to-pixel mapping without scaling.

UP-D77MD A4 MEDICAL DIGITAL PRINTER WITH DICOM INTERFACE

The UP-D77MD is an A4-sized dye sublimation colour printer that also features an integrated DICOM interface. It is the ideal choice for a wide range of applications where a clear, accurate, permanent visual record is required – from visualisation of data by 3D rendering (CT) to more precise diagnosis (NM).

The UP-D77MD connects directly with a range of visible and non-visible light medical imaging modalities, and can also be linked directly into broader DICOM networks including HIS (Hospital Information Systems) and PACS (Picture Archive and Communication Systems).

DICOM SATELLITE SERVER

The Sony DICOM Satellite Server is a robust, highly cost-effective solution for the storage, management and archiving of DICOM files. Capable of operating as part of a comprehensive DICOM network, this reliable, scalable solution provides on-line access to patient files that can be shared, browsed or printed by any user on the network.

Images from any visible-light or radiological modality are stored securely on the server's high-performance RAID5-protected, hot-swappable disk array. Any DICOM-compliant review client can perform query and retrieve procedures and recover images to a networked workstation for detailed analysis.
