New Sony UP-D77MD Delivers Images with Clinical Precision

This latest addition extends the Sony printer range and continues the company's success in the market. The traditional workflow for producing diagnostic images entailed producing output centrally. This was a very time-consuming process for both the patient - who would have to wait while these images were printed - and the clinician. The Sony UP-D77MD is a small footprint, A4/letter size dye-sublimation printer that can be deployed into a range of diagnostic applications. Its uses include 3D computer tomography, volume rendering Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET)/PET-CT and ultrasound imaging.
