Economic Alternative for High-Purity Water

19 February 2007

Progen Scientific Ltd is continuing the promotion of high-purity water systems from TKA and this week Progen is pleased to announce details of the TKA Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. The TKA range, supplied by Progen, is designed to work in any laboratory to provide high-purity water at competitive prices and supply in excess of 150L per day.

TKA Reverse Osmosis

Reverse osmosis is capable of removing 99% of impurities from normal tap water, including salts, bacteria, pyrogens and other particles. The system offers constant running costs even with higher than normal total dissolved solid content. In addition there are no regeneration costs.

TKA RO membranes are capable of effectively removing salts and 99% of bacteria, particles and pyrogens present in feed tap water.

TKA RO systems complete the TKA range of high-purity water products and are highly recommended when:

  • The feed tap water for autoclaves, glass washers and auto analyzers has a high salt content
  • Regeneration costs for ion exchangers are high
  • The regeneration service for ion exchangers is unreliable
  • The daily purified water requirement is in excess of 150L per day
  • Bacteria, particle and pyrogen content need to be reduced
  • Constant water quality is essential
  • A central water treatment system is required for a laboratory or building

The supply of TKA RO systems is backed up by Progen Scientific's excellent record of customer service and support. For further information on TKA ion exchange cartridges and TKA water purification systems, please visit us our website or call one of our dedicated customer support team. We can tell you more about the range, arrange for a representative to call for a demonstration or discuss prices and delivery.
