Velp Cooled Incubators - Another Exciting Launch from Progen Scientific

11 August 2006

Progen Scientific is pleased to announce the introduction of a range of new cooled incubator from Velp. This very modern designed and robust equipment is intended for different laboratory uses, such as incubation of microorganisms cultures, preservation of samples, determinations of enzymatic activities In fact any technique requiring precise and constant temperature.

The continuous internal air circulation and the thermostating microprocessor controlled AUTO-TUNING system allow a uniform temperature in the internal chamber. The actual temperature is continuously monitored for a precise alignment to the set value independently from room temperature. The internal temperature is programmed and displayed in digital mode, selected to the tenth of degree centigrade in the range 3-50°C (stability ±0.5°C). Dedicated software compatible with the Windows operating systems can be supplied upon request allowing to connect the incubator to a personal computer by an RS232 port, in order to:

  • Select the set points
  • Record on an Excel file and display in graphic form the internal temperature values
  • Signal and record any accidental overheating, failure of the probe or deviation from the set temperature range
  • Use programmable temperature and times work cycles

Additional Details:

  • Temperature range from 3oC to 50oC
  • Inner transparent door
  • Continuous internal air circulation and microprocessor controlled
  • AUTO-TUNING system for uniform temperature
  • Digital set and display of temperature

External dimensions:

  • FTC90I - 550W x 600D x 590H mm
  • FOC225I - 540W x 540D x 1280H mm
  • Shelves supplied: FTC90I - one; FOC225I - two
  • RS232 port for connection to a computer via connecting cable and optional software
