Taylor-Wharton produces a comprehensive range of portable cryogenic refrigerators, dewars and freezers used for organ transplant transportation vessels, biological specimen cryogenic storage, and cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage. All of our products feature modern construction, superior vacuum performance, low-level alarms, remote monitoring capability and advanced insulation materials, assuring high thermal efficiency and maximum holding times. DRY CRYOGENIC SHIPPERSThe Cryo-Express (CX) and CXR series of dry cryogenic shippers are designed to safely transport a variety of biological materials at cryogenic temperatures. The unique absorbent material prevents a liquid spill if the unit is tipped over. Advanced insulation construction maintains the temperature inside the shipping cavity at approximately -190°C. HIGH CAPACITY STORAGE OF BIOLOGICAL SPECIMENSOur HC series of refrigerators are designed to store large quantities of a variety of biological materials at cryogenic temperatures ranging between -196°C at the liquid surface and -190°C at the canister top. LIQUID NITROGEN STORAGE AND DISPENSING SYSTEMSThe LD series of cryogenic dewars are designed for storing and dispensing small amounts of liquid nitrogen. These dewars feature easy lightweight snap-on caps and neck tubes to ensure tight closure and easy access. TAYLOR WHARTON'S LABORATORY SYSTEMSThe LS series of cryogenic dewars are uniquely designed for large capacities (up to 6,000 vials in convenient box-type storage racks). The storage racks in the dewars provide maximum cryogenic-temperature holding times, meaning lower per vial operating costs and fewer nitrogen refills. Our new LS6000 with the auto-tend controller provides automatic filling and alarm features. All LS series products are Medical Device Directive (MDD) CE 93-42 approved. LABS SERIES STAINLESS STEEL FREEZERSThe LABS series of cryogenic freezers is capable of storing up to 80,000 large vials. These freezers are designed to provide near LN2 temperatures at the top racks in a vapour storage environment of -190°C. LABS stainless steel freezers feature an integrated folding step, flat table-top, hinged and lockable lid with polyurethane boots, 100 cell racks, and an easy-grip aluminium turn-table. All LABS series products are MDD approved EXTENDED TIME REFRIGERATORSThe XT series of refrigerators is designed for long-term storage of biological specimens at cryogenic temperatures. These extended time refrigerators feature lockable lids, convenient canister index location rings, and tapered internal spider. LIQUID NITROGEN STAINLESS STEEL STORAGE SYSTEMSOur K series of stainless steel storage systems offers efficient and reliable storage of liquid nitrogen with controllable temperatures between -100°C to 196°C. Combined with the safety of automatic alarms and the easy access to the stored product, the unique temperature gradient suppression system greatly improves the vapour phase temperature storage and recovery. All K series products are MDD approved. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUID GASESStorage and transport cylinders represent important components of the Taylor Wharton cryo-science technology. The inner and outer vessels are made of stainless steel, and all vessels comply with the 1999/36/EC European directive for transportable vessel equipment (TPED). For more information, please contact:
