SunTech Medical - the market leader in motion tolerant, blood pressure technology - is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with Mortara Instrument of Milwaukee, WI whereby blood pressure and pulse oximetry readings from the SunTech Tango+ automated monitor are directly interfaced to the Mortara X-Scribe stress exercise system display and final report outputs.
"This marks a new milestone in exercise stress testing and motion tolerant monitoring in that clinicians can now see the three major relevant clinical parameters in real time: ECG, BP and SPO2," stated Dayn McBee, CEO of SunTech Medical.
Justin L. Mortara, Ph.D. and vice-president of Mortara Instrument commented that "The display of pulse oximetry values measured by the SunTech monitor in the X-Scribe system will simplify presentation of this additional clinical parameter during stress exercise. The interface provides clinicians a single screen to visualize electrocardiographic changes captured by the X-Scribe, as well as BP and SpO2 measurements from the SunTech Tango+".
The Mortara X-Scribe, with integrated BP and SP02 parameters from the SunTech Tango+ monitor, was displayed at the American College of Cardiology show in New Orleans from March 25 - 27. Support for display of BP and SpO2 parameters is now available with X-Scribe software version 3.0.
