New Factory In China Running At Full Speed

On 18 September, ArjoHuntleigh opened its new factory in Suzhou, China. The factory will produce the company's entire range of pump consoles for DVT products and Therapeutic Surfaces products. During the autumn of 2008 the production of these components were successfully transferred from the production units in the UK, and production in China is now running at full speed.
During the autumn, the factory in Suzhou underwent a UL audit and was certified to the international quality standard ISO 13845 and the international environmental standard ISO 14001. The factory employs approximately 80 people. The new factory completes a major transformation of ArjoHuntleigh's production structure and will lead to a more efficient utilisation of the company's resources.
