The best example of this is the Alphamaxx. It can withstand extreme loads in every configuration, can be matched to patient stature thanks to its modular concept, and can be set up for every surgical discipline in just a few easy steps. It's longitudinal shift of 460mm allows the whole patient to be radiotranslucent without being repositioned.

The Alphastar features an optional hand control panel, an IR-control panel and a foot switch. There is also a control panel at the head of the column for emergency situations.

User satisfaction is the yardstick for the Betastar. Its versatility makes the Betastar a truly universal operating table. It offers effective solutions for the widest variety of requirements in the OR.

The AlphaClassic represents the cost-effectiveness and operational comfort provided by Maquet products. The options of IR remote control, corded hand control and footswitch make patient positioning much easier and quicker. The override panel on the column provides additional safety in the case of loss or damage to a hand control. The smooth electro-hydraulic power unit reduces manual handling by staff in the operating room.

SPECIAL-PURPOSE OPERATING TABLE

The Orthostar is designed for extension treatment in traumatology. This mobile operating table is a proven unit for all procedures of osteosynthesis. Furthermore, the new functional conception of the Orthostar provides comprehensive possibilities in orthopaedic and spinal surgery.

SURGICAL LIGHTS

Operating theatre lights have a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the surgical team. Light quality is obviously a critical consideration but operating temperature, shadow control, manoeuvrability, and even the shape of the light are also vitally important.

The PowerLED surgical light from Maquet produces a completely new approach to surgical lighting. It uses Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to provide a unique, high quality, pre-focused light source of 120,000 Lux with excellent heat management. In the PowerLED, the use of many separate light sources plays a crucial role in reducing the shadows that interfere with the operating area. In addition, Maquet has developed an electronic head detection system to complement the light's shadow control feature.

TELEMEDICINE - DIGITAL OR INTEGRATION

Overcoming time and space with telemedicine, Maquet offers networked expert knowledge for operating theatre practice, teaching and research that ensures efficient workflow and fast problem solving.
