OR Networks offers a suite of high-quality video and communication systems that enable surgeons to view all aspects of a procedure in the operating theatre. Our systems also make it possible to share surgical procedures, allowing them to be viewed live and interactively at the touch of a button.

Designed by specialist broadcast engineers and leading surgeons, OR Networks’ systems are now installed in hospitals throughout the world. Theatre layouts are custom designed depending on the speciality - cardiothoracic, endoscopic, orthopaedic, ophthalmic, etc.

INDEPENDENT OPEN CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR INTEGRATED THEATRES

ORTV® systems enable LCD monitors to be placed in the sterile field or around the theatre to display any image the surgeon wishes - whether it’s endoscopic, x-ray, PACs, EPR, pathology or patient monitoring.

The ORTV control system is the only independent open control system for integrated theatres. It allows any image to be displayed on any monitor simply by pressing an icon button on the ORTV touch panel.

Other features include:

MEDICAL VIDEO LINKS AND CONFERENCING

For teaching hospitals, ORcast is a unique system that enables surgical teams in different locations to instantly communicate with each other during surgical procedures. Delegates and trainees in remote lecture theatres can also benefit from this communication system.

Crystal-clear images can be transmitted from the operating theatre to a nearby room, educational facility or another hospital thousands of miles away, whilst, with equal clarity, the surgeon can discuss the procedure with the remote viewer as if they were standing by their side.

Specialist in-theatre medical video equipment enables an entire procedure or key moments to be captured on digital video recorders, still recorders and video printers, providing the best possible images for use in training.

Delegates or trainees in a local lecture theatre or thousands of miles away can watch the entire procedure live, whilst having the opportunity to discuss aspects of the case with the surgeon interactively

OR-3G® is the third generation in integrated operating theatres. ORTV is at the heart of the display and control technology but the theatre is incomplete without best-in-class equipment such as lights, pendants, tables, booms and airflow systems.

OR Networks are the exclusive reseller of National Display and Surgical Imaging Systems medical-grade flat-panel LCD monitors. OR Networks are also authorised resellers for Sony’s medical imaging equipment, including printers and recorders and Polycom video-conferencing system installers.

VIDEOSUITE™ - MEDICAL IMAGING CAPTURE UNIT

OR Networks produces a PC or laptop-based image capture system, allowing surgeons to grab images or clips (either by footswitch, keyboard or even from endoscopic camera head buttons).
