Hillcrest HealthCare System has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets and operations of two hospitals in Oklahoma, US — the SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa and Claremore Regional Hospital in Claremore.
Once the transaction is completed, Hillcrest HealthCare System's portfolio will include six hospitals with 1,159 licensed beds, more than 5,000 employees and over 1,100 physicians.
Hillcrest HealthCare System CEO Kevin Gross said that the acquisition will increase access to important healthcare services, as well as provide closer specialised care to residents of Rogers County.
The deal is expected to close this year, once all regulatory approvals are obtained.
The price and the financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
