LifePoint Hospitals in Tennessee, US, has announced the acquisition of Sumner Regional Health Systems (SRHS) for $145m plus working capital.
SRHS, which will be renamed HighPoint Health System, has four hospitals which serve 11 counties in the northern-middle Tennessee region.
The SRHS facilities include the 155-bed Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, the 88-bed Riverview Regional Medical Center North and South, and the 25-bed critical access hospital in Hartsville.
LifePoint plans to invest $60m in capital investments in the hospitals over the next decade.
