NovaBone Products has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for its NovaBone Putty MIS delivery system, which improves the delivery of bone grafting material in minimally invasive orthopaedic procedures.
The system contains a syringe pre-loaded with NovaBone Putty and 6mm diameter cannulas of various lengths.
It allows orthopaedic surgeons to precisely deliver bone graftd to surgical sites in a controlled way.
The system is indicated for use in orthopaedic surgeries of pelvis, the extremities and posterolateral spine.
