The Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence in the US will deploy eClinicalWorks' electronic health records (EHR) solution for its 59 providers across multiple locations to speed up practice and improve patient care.
The EHR solution will enable clinicians to manage patient flow, access patient records in-house or remotely, electronically communicate with referring physicians and send consult notes and clinical data.
The solution will also allow patients and doctors to communicate via the Internet and enable physician practices to send messages including appointment reminders, lab results, diagnostic imaging and statements.
Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence EMR project lead Kathie Dodds said, "We chose eClinicalWorks due to the fully integrated platform making reporting features seamless; opportunities for interoperability in the Columbus medical community, along with its success in aiding practices to achieve meaningful use, customisable workflows and templates, and responsiveness in research and development."
eClinicalWorks CEO and co-founder Girish Kumar Navani said that eClinicalWorks has a track record in deploying orthopedic practices.
"We look forward to working with Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence and helping optimise the practice by improving the speed with which they can deliver quality care," Navani added.
