Parkway Pantai Group will open the 14-storey Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital (MNH), the first bomb-proof hospital in Singapore, on 1 July 2012.
The S$2bn ($1.5bn) facility will consist of 333 patient bed,s including 206 single-bedded rooms, 37 deluxe rooms, eight VIP rooms, three super suites, 40 intensive care unit beds, 20 day surgery beds and 19 endoscopy beds.
MNH will feature a hybrid operating theatre with the LED lights, which provide surgeons with a shadow and heat-free surgical environment.
The hospital will also include Biograph an mMR machines, outpatient specialty centres and over 250 physicians.
The group runs 16 hospitals across Asia, including three private hospitals in Singapore and has a network of regional hospitals in Malaysia, India and Brunei.
