US-based Tahoe Pacific Hospitals, part of the LifeCare family of hospitals, is set to relocate its Reno West facility to Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC).

Currently located on the campus of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, the 21-bed facility will be moved to NNMC’s Sparks campus at 2375 E. Prater Way in August 2014.

Tahoe Pacific Hospitals’ 39-bed Meadows facility will continue to operate on the first floor of Renown Health’s South Meadows Medical Center.

Both facilities are accredited by The Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.

Tahoe Pacific Hospitals chief operating officer Derrick Glum said that the organisation has served the needs of medically complex patients and collaborated with area hospitals and physicians for nearly 20 years.

The clinical staff at the hospital includes nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists, mental health professionals and nutritionists.
