The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Washington Hospital have partnered to open the first of three new urgent care centres in Peters, Pennsylvania, US.
The partnership’s first urgent care centre, the UPMC Urgent Care with The Washington Hospital, will be a rebrand of the existing Washington Hospital facility in the Krebs Professional Center in Peters.

Two other sites will open within the next 18 months, most likely in the Washington and McMurray areas.
The centres will provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, as well as X-ray and laboratory services.
