Stamford Hospital in Connecticut, US, has chosen e-Builder Enterprise to manage construction project information for a new speciality building and bed tower and a central utility plant.
The technology will replace the previous homegrown system and help the hospital to track meeting minutes and project cost controls.
e-Builder is also expected to help Stamford in construction administration process automation of RFIs, change orders, submittals and project status reporting.
The solution will also transfer cost data into Meditech, track cheque payments and process invoices and other cost-related transactions.
Stamford Hospital project director Kenneth Monroe said e-Builder will help the hospital shorten the timeframe to execute processes and allow for greater accountability as to where a task is stuck and why.
"We can then address any issues creating potential delays," Monroe added.
The hospital project team, the COO and CFO, accounting, architects, and materials management team will use e-Builder for collaborating and sharing information about the hospital projects.
