Carteret General Hospital in North Carolina, US, has chosen the Kronos suite of workforce management solutions to increase efficiency.
The hospital will use the automated system for visibility into critical labour data, allowing management to make effective labour-related decisions.
Carteret General Hospital human resources vice president Beth Beswick said from gaining real-time visibility in timekeeping, scheduling and absence management the hospital would be able to accurately align labour to demand.
"By hiring best-fit candidates and having the ability to analyse labour trends, we will turn our workforce into our differentiator and offer the best care to our patients," Beswick said.
The hospital expects to save more than $400,000 within the first year of implementation of the Kronos suite of solutions and have benefits, such as alignment of labour to demand, improved hiring practices and analysis of labour data.
The hospital selected the Kronos time and attendance, employee scheduling, labour analytics, HR and payroll solutions, timeclock and InTouch suite of solutions.
