Baystate Health, a not-for-profit integrated healthcare system serving people across western Massachusetts, has partnered with healthcare technology firm Cerner to launch a digital health platform.

The new platform is designed to offer more consumer-focused approach to patient care by integrating care delivery and financing systems.

In addition to improving patient access to personalised care, the platform will provide clinicians clearer views into patient populations.

It will utilise data to support disease management more effectively.

The platform will offer a unified view for the health system to manage, by combining new applications and tools from Cerner and third-party developers.

Baystate Health will deploy the Cerner HealtheIntent platform to support its Physician Health Organization, Baycare Health Partners in Western New England, Massachusetts.

The platform will offer data-driven insight for primary care providers to support personalised patient experiences.

Baystate Health is also looking to implement a comprehensive suite of clinically driven revenue cycle management solutions across its acute and ambulatory facilities.

The move is expected to streamline patient access to health information and transform the billing experience.
