Lone Star Circle of Care selects NextGen Patient Experience Platform

Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC), a federally qualified health centre (FQHC) network in the US, has adopted NextGen Healthcare’s NextGen Patient Experience Platform to make services more accessible to patients.

Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC), a federally qualified health centre (FQHC) network in the US, has adopted NextGen Healthcare’s NextGen Patient Experience Platform to make services more accessible to patients.

Lone Star Circle of Care operates clinics in 37 locations across Texas with 160 providers.

The new solution allows patients to participate in their own care while saving staff time and increasing revenue for providers. It also helps patients to obtain a centralised view of their health data.

Lone Star Circle of Care clinical technologies director Kachina Gayton said: “By using the integrated NextGen Patient Experience Platform, we were able to optimize staff time while offering a better patient experience.

“Our providers enjoy using the platform and play an instrumental role in encouraging patients to enroll and utilise the portal.”

LSCC also recently extended its use of the integrated ambulatory platform of NextGen Healthcare with NextGen PxP Portal, NextGen Virtual Visits, NextGen Patient Self-Scheduling and NextGen Pay.

NextGen PxP Portal provides better communication for patients with health care providers and also allows self-schedule and more convenient bill payments.

NextGen Healthcare’s FQHC-focused integrated solutions are being utilised by LSCC with telehealth capabilities to help providers meet patients where they for pediatrics, senior care and behavioral health services.

The firm stated that its patient engagement solutions have played an important role in serving patients safely through secure messaging, virtual visits and online scheduling.
