Sectra has signed a contract to provide its enterprise imaging solution as a Cloud service, Sectra One Cloud, to Belgian hospitals AZ Sint Jan and AZ Sint Lucas.

The cloud-based service will enable the hospitals to share resources and reduce their IT burden.

Sectra will take full responsibility for the technology and operation of the system, providing cost advantages to the hospitals.

AZ Sint Jan and AZ Sint Lucas will make use of the Sectra One Cloud modules for breast imaging and radiology and Sectra VNA, a multimedia archive.

Fully managed by Sectra in Microsoft Azure’s public cloud, the service can be integrated with the hospitals’ existing IT systems, including their electronic medical records (EMR).

This integration will provide the care team with a detailed overview of each patient’s information.
