Exempla St Joseph Hospital in Denver, US, has announced plans to build a $623m facility in the city.
The new 826,000ft², 348-bed hospital is scheduled to be operational by December 2014. Groundbreaking is expected to take place on 26 June 2011.
Exempla St Joseph Hospital president and CEO Bain Farris said that the facility will significantly enhances the hospital’s ability to continue serving the health and wellness needs of the Denver metro community.
The new hospital will be built in stages to allow for continuity of patient care and minimal disruption to patients, families and physicians.
