Monongahela Valley Hospital in Washington County, US, has signed a multi-year agreement to use Micromedex, an evidence-based clinical reference solution developed by Thomson Reuters.

Micromedex provides clinical answers on drugs and drug interactions, disease management, toxicology, alternative medicine, intravenous drug compatibility and patient education resources.

Monongahela Valley Hospital nurse educator Susan Campus said, “The strength-of-evidence ratings, recommendations, and efficacy ratings for all therapeutic uses for drugs give us a resource in helping us to deliver high quality, cost-effective care.”
