US-based electronic clinical document manufacturer Salar has teamed up with Standard Register, which provides automation services to cater for hospitals moving from paper to electronic records.

Under the agreement, Salar's TeamNotes Embedded software tool will be made available to Standard Register's client base, which includes about 60% of US hospitals.

TeamNotes Embedded has been designed to integrate electronic clinical forms into other existing applications for a "simple and efficient" experience, says Salar.

Salar provides electronic clinical documentation and charge capture software to the healthcare industry, designed to transform traditional physician paper-driven documentation into electronic format.

Standard Register provides documents, labels solutions and professional services across various industries.
