A next-generation single sign-on (SSO) service that creates efficiencies in healthcare information technology will now be available for community and rural hospitals in the US.

US healthcare information solution provider Healthland has signed an agreement with access management solution provider Sentillion to resell Sentillion's application expreSSO.

The new cost-effective plug and go application requires only one password and one username and can be implemented in nearly every type of healthcare organisation to help provide better quality of patient care, Healthland said.
