The QA400m expansion of Doha's Al-Ahli Hospital has begun its expansion works, set to add more than 300 beds within two years, The Peninsula Qatar reports.

The project includes the build of three additional buildings and more than QA25m has been allocated for new medical equipment and staffing, said the news service.

The hospital will employ international doctors to strengthen its existing clinical areas including the dermatology, emergency and family medicine departments.
