South Africa has launched a telephone hotline to address queries and offer information about H1N1 influenza in a bid to enhance communication about the virus, the government said. The phone line will be managed by staff trained in infectious diseases who will be supported by experts from

The phone line will be managed by staff trained in infectious diseases who will be supported by experts from the Department of Health.

The government has also set up a dedicated email address that concerned members of the public can send questions to and request information from.
