Lebanon’s Interior Ministry and Health Ministry have signed a partnership agreement in a bid to improve the country’s primary healthcare services.

The ministers said that municipalities and NGOs should be involved in healthcare projects to ensure development throughout the country, dailystar.com.lb reports.

Municipality collaboration with the two ministries is important to implement several proposed plans such as early diagnosis, diabetes and vaccination programmes, Health Minister Mohammad Jawad Khalifeh said.
