Baylor Medical Center in the US state of Texas is replacing its paper-based processes with an electronic clinical system to improve workflows, patient safety and compliance.

Orchestrate Healthcare, in partnership with Vitalize Consulting Solutions, is deploying the new architecture, which will integrate with Baylor's existing nursing, electronic medical records and other systems.

The two companies conducted a study on the 68-bed hospital's existing system infrastructure and internal processes prior to this implementation, Orchestrate said.

The comprehensive project analysed various factors including executives, administration, patient access, medical records, nursing and clinical areas.
