Construction has begun at the $12.8m New Mexico Rehabilitation Hospital in the US. The hospital will offer rehabilitation care to the residents of New Mexico who are struggling with substance abuse and those with sustained spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries or strokes, NewsWest9.c

The hospital will offer rehabilitation care to the residents of New Mexico who are struggling with substance abuse and those with sustained spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries or strokes, NewsWest9.com reports.

The new facility will assist in the training of healthcare staff as well as cater to the rural and underserved areas, the news agency reports.

The facility is being built on the campus of Eastern New Mexico University – Roswell and is due to be complete in December 2010.
