Dubai's Emaar Healthcare Group has started a recruitment drive and will initially hire around 200 healthcare professionals to establish a team for Emaar's upcoming medical centre and clinics.

Emaar's recruitment drive is for its flagship project The Dubai Mall Medical Centre, which will open soon, and two community clinics to be launched by late 2009.

The Dubai Mall Medical Centre will be the largest out-patient centre in the region offering a wide range of healthcare specialities, Emaar said.

The community clinics will offer general medicine and select specialities as well.

Emaar Healthcare has also partnered with US-based Methodist Hospital's international branch Methodist International, to help deliver world-class healthcare innovations, Emaar said.
