Jordan is expected to receive the first batch of the H1N1 flu vaccine by late October, a Health Ministry official said.

Around 100,000 doses of the swine flu vaccine will be delivered to the country and people preparing for the annual Hajj pilgrimage will be the first to receive the flu shots, The Jordan Times reports.

Jordan has placed orders of 2.25 million vaccinations in total from international companies, the newspaper reports.
