The expansion project includes the establishment of a new breast imaging sub-speciality with state-of-the-art mammography machines.

The breast imaging unit will start operating in the next couple of months after the machines have been installed, Ail Ain said.

Al Ain Hospital is a 412-bed acute care hospital with more than 250 physicians and 35 medical departments.
