Kuwait will aim to sign a number of agreements with UK National Health Service hospitals to develop hospital projects and improve the quality of care.

The Ministry of Health is set to sign an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will include strategies to manage human resources through visits by British delegations to Kuwait, Kuwait News Agency reports.

Technical staff from the UK will operate one of the specialised hospitals in Kuwait as part of the agreement, senior government officials told the news agency.

In addition to therapeutic and vocational training, the MoU will also include electronic-based information exchange between the two countries.
