Baraga County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) in the US state of Michigan plans to build a new facility to serve an increasing number of outpatients.

The new 71,158ft*#179; facility will house 15 acute beds, a retail pharmacy and an outpatient centre, and will feature new inpatient technology and services, BCMH said.

It will also feature imaging, laboratory, dietary, physical therapy, respiratory therapy and support departments.

BCMH will receive funds of $28.3m from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to construct the facility.
