India's private hospital chain Fortis Healthcare said it will add three more hospitals to its network with an investment of nearly $64.4m (Rs300 crore).

The hospital chain will add the three hospitals with a capacity of up to 600 beds, once two of its greenfield hospitals under construction are completed, according to Press Trust of India.

The average cost of each bed will be around $107,354 (Rs50 lakh), Fortis officials said.
