MultiCare Health Systems in the US has contracted Skanska for the final phase of construction management work for its Good Samaritan Hospital expansion in Puyallup. The $71.4m final phase of the project will include a new 35,000m² nine-storey building with 80 individual patient rooms
MultiCare Health Systems in the US has contracted Skanska for the final phase of construction management work for its Good Samaritan Hospital expansion in Puyallup.
The $71.4m final phase of the project will include a new 35,000m² nine-storey building with 80 individual patient rooms as well as emergency, surgery and imaging departments.
The project will also include a central utility plant and a 15,000m² parking area.
Construction work will begin immediately and is scheduled to be complete in late 2010.
The total cost of the project is $279m and Skanska started work on the first phases of the expansion project at the beginning of the year.
