UK Hospital Hit by Infectious Bug

Two wards at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust in the UK have been closed because of an outbreak of the norovirus winter vomiting bug. The norovirus bug has infected 64 staff members in the hospital and an estimated 112 patients have had the bug, according to northhamptonchron.co.

Two wards at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust in the UK have been closed because of an outbreak of the norovirus winter vomiting bug.

The norovirus bug has infected 64 staff members in the hospital and an estimated 112 patients have had the bug, according to northhamptonchron.co.uk.

People with any symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting within the past two days have been asked not to visit the hospital.

Staff are not returning to work until they have been symptom-free for 48 hours.
