The US House of Representatives will not agree to the healthcare reform bill passed by the Senate, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

“There are certain things the members simply cannot support,” Pelosi said.

House members demanded that the Senate pass a separate bill amending the healthcare legislation before they consent to support it, washingtonpost.com reports.

President Barack Obama made healthcare his most important domestic priority but support for it has been dwindling in recent polls.
