Baptist Health, a healthcare system in Arkansas, US, has chosen MedeAnalytics’ patient access intelligence and revenue cycle intelligence technologies to manage its revenue cycle.
The healthcare system will leverage the technology to improve the performance of the financial clearance processes including demographic and insurance eligibility verification and patient payment estimation.
MedeAnalytics chief executive officer Mike Gallagher said, "Baptist Health’s use of our end-to-end revenue cycle solution with extensive workflow functionality will enhance customer satisfaction and overall revenue management."
According to MedeAnalytics, its patient access intelligence (PAI) and revenue cycle intelligence (RCI) technologies facilitate transparency across the entire account lifecycle.
PAI is a web-based workflow solution developed to provide intelligence during the patient registration and financial clearance process.
The platform includes patient payment estimation, charity care screening, address validation, risk segmentation and insurance eligibility verification in a single interface designed for front-end staff.
RCI is a web-based platform designed to provide hospitals and physician practices with a consolidated view of revenue cycle performance across an integrated healthcare delivery system.
The platform combines data from hospital patient accounting systems and physician practice management systems, linking the information into episodes of care and creating a consolidated business intelligence framework across the hospital and physician revenue cycle.
