Houston health system takes over Jacinto Sleep and Imaging Center

University General Health System in Houston, Texas, US, has purchased Jacinto Sleep and Imaging Center.

University General Health System in Houston, Texas, US, has purchased Jacinto Sleep and Imaging Center.

The integrated multi-specialty healthcare delivery company believes that the acquisition will add more than $5m as annual revenue, and around $1.6m in adjusted EBITDA annually.

The acquisition is also believed to add to the ambulatory surgical services that the company provides in Baytown, Texas. Terms of the transaction were kept confidential.

University General Health System chairman and chief executive officer Hassan Chahadeh said the acquisition aids in achieving the company’s strategic plan to develop its integrated healthcare delivery system.

"We are delighted to continue building upon our constructive relationship with Jacinto Medical Group and look forward to additional growth in this part of the Houston metropolitan area," Chahadeh added.

Jacinto Medical Group is a multi-specialty healthcare that consists of 15 full-time physicians, three affiliated physicians, six physician assistants, and a nurse practitioner with respective specialties.
