The College Park Family Care Center in the US state of Kansas has selected eClinicalWorks’ electronic health records (EHR) solution to improve communication and information access.
The medical centre will implement the EHR solution across 12 locations for 91 providers to follow quality of care initiatives such as Meaningful Use and Patient-Cantered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition.
College Park Family Care Center administrator Chuck Chambers said it has selected the eClinicalWorks solution due to its track record with multi-speciality health centres and the support it provides.
"Using this system, we believe we will be able to improve care for our patients and meet our goals of accomplishing meaningful use and in being recognised as a Patient-Centered Medical Home," Chambers added.
The College Park Family Care Center will deploy eClinicalWorks EMR/PM, Patient Portal, P2P, eBO, eClinicalMobile and eClinicalMessenger.
With eClinicalWorks EMR/PM, clinicians can manage patient flow, access patient records and communicate with the referring physicians.
eBO performs clinical and financial analytics, while eClinicalMessenger provides a messaging service which uses voice-over-internet protocol to enable physician practices to send messages to patients.
P2P provides practice-to-practice, provider-to-provider communications in a peer-to-peer environment and eClinicalMobile permits College Park Family Care Center physicians to access the system at any time through their smart phone.
eClinicalWorks CEO and co-founder Girish Kumar Navani said, "We look forward to working with College Park Family Care Center to improve patient care and assist in reaching its goals of becoming meaningful users and gaining PCMH status."
