Rcadia has reported positive study results of its COR Analyzer System, which is designed to perform fully automatic analyses of coronary CT angiography studies to identify the presence of stenosis.

The results revealed that the system safely ruled out coronary artery disease in the major coronary arteries as well as branch vessels.

The COR Analyzer System identifies the presence of significant (50% or more) stenosis, helping to accelerate triage in the emergency department and assist in reducing unnecessary admissions.

During the study, conducted at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, 207 coronary CT angiography examinations were analysed using Rcadia device versus an expert reader.

The COR Analyzer System identified 48 patients with significant stenosis and demonstrated a sensitivity of 92%, negative predictive value of 97%, specificity of 70% and positive predictive value of 48%.
